AstroCamp’s Virginia Campus is located in the town of Clover, two hours from Richmond and Raleigh-Durham Airport. Our camp is located on a beautiful 406-acre campus has rolling meadows surrounded by forest bordering the Staunton River. Our facilities and labs offer state of the art equipment for exploring science and the natural world. Students and chaperones are housed in comfortable cabins with bunk beds and mattresses. Meals are served in our dinning hall.

AstroCamp is an outdoor science school and hands-on STEM program with the themes of astronomy and space exploration. AstroCamp meets many science content standards. Our classes are designed to assist teachers in their classroom goals and to inspire students toward future success in their academic and personal pursuits.

AstroCamp Virginia is located in the hills of Halifax County

Just two hours north of Raleigh, North Carolina, our beautiful 406-acre campus is found on the edge of the Staunton River surrounded by groves of oak, crepe myrtle, and walnut trees. While at AstroCamp Virginia, students and are housed in comfortable, climate-controlled cabins with bunk beds. Cabins typically house 6-8 students. All of our high-quality, delicious meals are served buffet style in our dining hall.

AstroCamp is home to a state-of-the-art observatory and labs that were custom built to meet and exceed the learning needs of students with all different learning styles. Our 8 labs provide campers with a safe environment where learning is a hands-on experience.
