AstroCamp’s Virginia Campus is located in the town of Clover, two hours from Richmond and Raleigh-Durham Airport. This beautiful 406-acre campus has rolling meadows surrounded by forest bordering the Staunton River. Our facilities and labs offer state of the art equipment for exploring science and the natural world. Students and chaperones are housed in comfortable cabins with bunk beds and mattresses. Meals are served in our dining hall.
We believe that the best way to ensure future scientists gain a passion for the natural world is by allowing our campers extensive time to interact with the natural world. By hosting them at a campus that allows them to dig into nature, we ensure students build lifelong passions for discovery.
AstroCamp is an outdoor science school and hands-on STEM program with the themes of astronomy and space exploration. AstroCamp meets many science content standards. Our classes are designed to assist teachers in their classroom goals and to inspire students toward future success in their academic and personal pursuits. We are confident that through the academic learning they will do during our structured activities and the habit building they will do during unstructured activities, your child will grow by leaps and bounds during their time with us.
